Through back to a classic si-fi “2001 A Space Odyssey.” While still on the lathe this hollow form, with its unexpected void, just looked like the “Discovery” spacecraft.

This is my smallest opening to date 1.25”! Still large by most turners here but a milestone for me.

Congrats! What hollowing tools and system are you using? It’s beautiful. That void sure helped clear chips.
