Tulipwood Victorian Style Box

After studying my previous round bottom boxes I thought hmm...they need to be more curvy. Well, here is my take on a more elegant, curvy Victorian(ish) style box! Turned from my never ending stash of Brazilian Tulipwood (Dalbergia frutescens) it features the true round bottom, domed lid and extra curvy sides. Turned, hollowed, and finished with heat buffed abrasive wax, then gloss lacquer. Size is 1 3/4" in diameter by 1 3/4" tall. I've had fun with these round bottom styled boxes, but different shapes will be coming soon!
That was a bit of a joke Tom, but I will say I have enough to make at least 8 more boxes! :D

Nice job with grain matching. Beautiful shape.
