Basket Illusion turned from a solid piece of Beech Hardwood, measures approximately 13.25" diameter x 2.00" tall. The design is inked with Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens and sealed with a clear acrylic spray finish.
Hey Tom! Thank you for the nice message - the herringbone pattern or braided rim - either would be an accurate description -- It is a challenge to do, but I really enjoy the process - besides, I also really like how it makes the pieces look!
