Australian Pine Burl taken down during Hurricane Ian. The Ball represents the eye of the storm, the center ring represents the rain bands and the coral on top represents the lightening.

Thank you. The branch is actually coral source from the beach on the east coast of Florida. You can soak it in water and shape it in many different ways. The other unusual part to the piece is that the top cover, albeit darker, is actually from the same burl just farther down. It was incredible to see the color change in the burl so I wanted to capture as much as I could.
