Live edge hollow form

Spalted Monkeypod (Suar) hollow form with natural edge. 5" x 5"
Very nice John. From this perspective, it looks like the right side of the opening, in the process of rising up, ripped a tear in the lower portion. Artistically, a sense of movement is supposed to be good, but I don't know about violence. In any case, it gets your audience involved and responding.

Thanks Dean. That may just be the perspective in this photo. The shape of the top was intentional (not from deformation in drying). This was from a dry piece of Monkeypod that had been stored under our daughter's deck for several years so there were no changes after turning.
