In January I will be leading a hands-on class for Minnesota Woodturners to make WIG stands. These will part of our chapters Community Service initiative.
Read the current WIT newsletter online at woodturner.org for more information on how your chapter can participate.
Wonderful! The Tennessee bunch will be doing the same in February. Any hints or suggestions on teaching this project would be appreciated.
We plan to offer them to a local grade school art class for decoration before donation.
Our class is in January. I think the steps are easy enough. It has taken me about 3 hrs to complete each wig stand which includes painting . I hope the class goes well. I'll let you know.
