Christmas ornament for my daughter, buckeye burl and holly. Hollowed, and airbrush dyes and acrylics for color.
Exquisite, Keith. I like that you are now using holly (vs blackwood) for the finial / icicle. IF... actually used on a tree the contrast with the greens will make your ornament stand out... and looks great on your display stand as well!
 
Thanks Jim and Tom! Tom, sometimes I use ebony or blackwood for the finials, depending on the look I want. This one looks better with holly, I think.
