Way cool, Pat. And the sleeve approach... A great way from to keep from going crazy painting the inside of each of the recesses! It looks like an 8 sided dome lid with the 6 sided body. If that's the case, did it just feel good to do it that way or was that planned for some reason.

I really like this one, Pat. Is the sleeve removable? Can it be replaced with other sleeves with different colorings ... like one for each day of the week?

That bit of color really adds depth and pop to this piece Pat! I love that topper. This looks ready to cap a column or tower to my “inside the box” mind! Well done!
