Red Gum hollow form (1 of 2)

Pardon the terrible lighting--working on a better setup. This one is about 5 inches in diameter. I'm pleased with the wall thickness consistency, but I'll be working to go thinner next time. I have very little experience with hollow forms, but will be putting in some practice over the next months. Critiques welcome.

Thanks, Scott. The finish did turn out well on this one. I didn't get the wall thickness where I wanted it, so it's not very pleasing in hand--too heavy. Fun learning, though!
