Quadriloba

Ginkgo, 8-5/8" x 5-7/8", turned, carved and finished with milk paint and flaxseed oil
I really like this piece. The feet are terrific, and so is the choice of finish.

Thanks very much. The foot detail was a happy accident. The sunlight was raking across my bench as I was shaping the feet and it caught that hard line in just the right way. I had a totally different plan in mind for the foot shape but this was much better. And the milk paint finish came out particularly well this time. Glad you like it -- I do too!

You have a fabulous creative mind, Kalia! Some turners overdo their embellishment efforts, but you do just enough to keep the essence of "art" in perspective. This Quadriloba is one more example of this concept that is becoming your trademark. :)
