Basket Illusion Bowl

This is my second attempt at basket illusion. The "basket" is segmented maple, 11' wide, 6" tall.

I have done a couple basket weave illusion pieces and know you spent countless hours/days just coloring this piece; exceptional! Choice of colors is great.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm learning that basket illusion and segmenting have a lot in common, both are very tedious and time consuming. However, the coloring work can be done in the comfort of my air conditioned house and when it's a 110 out I'd rather color.
