Boxelder Burl Hollow Form.

This piece had some beautiful natural red areas, but I looked at it about 6 months after finishing it, and the red had faded away. So I decided to try some dye (black, then red). 5 inches diameter, finished with sprayed on lacquer and buffed. It is so glossy that I had trouble with the photography, (the white spot on the upper left)
