Pear Hummer Bowl Set -2

View for Ruby Throated Hummer and Flowers.
Looks as though Diane did an excellent job of woodburning and dying on the bowl.

The rim detail is most interesting, also how did you attach the smaller bowl or is it removable.

Overall a well executed piece and I am sure that the Tillson Gallery is happy with it.

Thanks Fog. I think that Diane did do an excellent job as well. The Blackwood piece was turned and carved to fit the base of the upper bowl (like a lid) and the rim of the parent bowl beneath. When first turned everything was a suction fit to the shallow. After finishing and buffing though, I lost some of the close fit from suction. Ask Bill if it is still working and if they are happy with it. I hope so.
