Sweetgum Bowl, 7”d x 3.25”h

Sweetgum is an often overlooked wood. However, given time it develops wild shades of brown that appear like watercolors. Initially, the wood is fairly bland, as shown in some other bowls I’ve posted here. However, with a bit of patience you get something like this. It’s also a pretty good mover, as shown at the rim.
