"Dusk"

Here is another one of the embellished platters. I used the rustic maple as the background on this one. The bowl is turned, textured, and sprayed with flat black paint. Colored using India ink. The process is to lay the paper on the wood, trace the pattern on the wood, then trace over the pattern in black ink, and color in. Size is the approx. 8 inches in diameter. Finished with semi-gloss lacquer.

Nice platter Gabriel. I like this trend of wide-rimmed with stenciled drawings. The black bowl is an excellent touch on this one, too!
