Here's another view - there's a bark inclusion on one side.

Really nice! How did you attach the legs to the form? I think I see a little biscuit or something that connects, but can’t tell. Regardless of the method, it’s clean, even more so being ebonized.

I cut little stubs of 1/8" brass rod (it's brass because I had it laying around). Roughed it up, and epoxy'ed bits into holes drilled the hollow form (1 per leg). After that cured, I sanded them down (length) so they'd fit the holes drilled in the legs. Glued on one leg at a time because I was concerned that keeping all aligned at once would be too much to deal with.

I discovered that I really need a drill press (Santa, are you listening? no? well, shoot!) - getting all 6 of those holes aligned and etc is challenging with a hand-held drill!

Thanks for the explanation! That’s a good call with the single brass rod per leg. Gives a lot of adjustability with the angle. Yes, stressful drilling by hand! Nailed it though.
