Nice, Mr. Odie! About the tag that you have. I hate those things. They use them at one of the galleries where I sell my work. When you try to peel them off, they leave a sticky residue, and also, like a discoloration, you can see where the tag was. I know of this because sometimes I have to mail the gallery pieces. Have you try peeling one like 6 months after?

You pose a good question, and it deserves to have a definitive response. I picked out a bowl that's been in storage for more than a year. The tag removed easily, and there was a very slight noticeable residue from the tag that easily wiped away with my thumb. I could not detect any discoloration of the wood under where the tag was. I do not consider this to be problematic under the conditions, or circumstances my bowls are exposed to.

I do see how the use of these tags could be very problematic under the conditions they might be subjected to in a Hawaiian art gallery.....where heat and light conditions may be entirely different than the dark, temperature controlled closet in my home. This closet has been converted with shelves and drawers, and I only go in there when adding or subtracting from my current inventory.
