Serial 22055 Model GCNO0506 Black Cherry Goblet

Black cherry cut down while the snow still covered the ground, therefore still dormant. The piece measures about 5" (130MM) diameter X 6" (150MM) tall, the cup walls are between 0.02 to 0.05" thick and the undercut base is about 0.09" thick. The piece was turned on 5/31/2022 and weighed 28 G. on 6/11/2022 it weighed 20G, after DO was applied it was 26G and 1 hour ago 25 G. The fluted shape on the lip of the cup is due to the bark shrinking less then the wood.
