My second gnome

This little guy is made from poplar for the body and two scrap pieces of sapele glued up for the helmet. The arms and nose are scrap cherry, and the shield is a combination of sapele and cherry scraps. Finished the helmet with Myland's and the rest with Mahoney's walnut oil. It's also a box, pull off the helmet and it's one of Ruth Niles' bottle openers.
