Green turn - cherry

Turned from a large cherry tree cut down by my father-in-law. As a brand new turner, this was definitely my favorite I had turned at the time. 6" diameter and 2" tall. It has since warped and cracked as I knew it would.
For a brand new turner, that was a really nice little bowl. Appears well balanced and with a constant curve. Well done.

Thank you Dean, I appreciate that! If you hold the bottom to the light, well, let's just say I probably came within another couple of sanding turns to join the funnel club. :) No worries, I did that on a subsequent bowl.
