A piece intended to depict the plight of the precipitous decline in avian species over the last few decades. Birds, and the ecosystems that support them including all pollinators, are at risk of going extinct without humans correcting some of the havoc we have created by destroying their environment. My intent with this piece is to help make people aware of the problem so they can help to solve it. Good reading on this is Douglas Tallamy's "Natures Best Hope"
