Ebony Ornament

Ebony Ornament

The Ebony globe is hollowed to less than 1/8” and about 2 ¼” in diameter. The finial and top are made of Ivory wood and make the ornament about 7 ½” tall. I sealed the Ivory wood with some clear satin spray finish. The globe was polished and sealed with Renaissance wax polish. The beautiful ornaments Keith Tompkins makes inspired this.
