Thermed Mini-Table

Thermed Mini-Table

This 10-inch tall mini-table was created from a slab of American Elm that had some very interesting grain patterns. The three legs were turned simultaneously on a therming rig, producing unique identical shapes with every surface curved. Horizontal pieces were finished with Watco oil and the Poplar legs were stained and finished with Watco oil and a clear coat. This table was made to match with a taller thermed table.
Signature master piece! Love everything about it.
Thanks Emiliano! I'm sure some woodturners take a look at the image and wonder what a table is doing on a woodturning site. Then if they read the text, they probably wonder 'what in the world is therming?' Well, if someone gets that far and I have stimulated their curiosity I will feel I have accomplished something.
