Through the Arms of the Maker

Sugar maple burl turned and carved from a single piece, the base is dyed big leaf maple burl. The bowl measures 23" W x 23" L x 26" H. The base measures 32" W x 26" L x 3" H. This was a collaboration between my brother, David Ramsey and myself. The hands were relief carved and undercut to give the appearance of separation, however, the bowl and hands are one single piece. The arms/hands are life-sized.
