1418 Quilted Maple.

Finished 1/22/20, quilted maple, 10 3/4 x 2, received as KD lumber, so seasoning was minimal. However, even though it metered 12%, it did lose 25 grams over a period of 4 months! This just shows that even KD lumber would benefit from a roughing/seasoning process to minimize any warp during final turning. -----odie-----
@Rob Price Howdy Rob........My finishing process is very simple.......Watco Danish Oil Natural, and Beall Buff 3-step method. The thing that makes the finish "pop" like that is a refined surface preparation that requires little sanding......and, I seldom sand to anything less than 600 grit.....
