Acoma Spiral
One of the last baskets I completed for my upcoming show this one was done on Sapele ,all though it’s a poor choice of wood for beading I really like the effect the wood gives to the overall basket feel. This one took a while to complete just cause of the size both front and back as well as the rim.
It is 16.5” in diameter
Wood burned ,and Colored with India ink markers from faber castel.
