Footed Cherry Hollow Form

The wood for this came from a huge cherry limb that fell from a storm. This is a David Ellsworth style hollow form, or the way I remember from a demo and hands-on class at the Michigan Association of Woodturners. It is 6” and made from a triple branch piece. I decided to see what it would look like adding little feet to it. It was turned green through a ¾” opening to about a 1/8” thickness. The three branches gave it a bit of a wonky shape. I used red and yellow dyes to enhance the grain patterns.
