Flowering Pear Box

Several weeks ago, the flowering pear trees were in full bloom. That was the inspiration for this piece. The flowers, cut on the ornamental lathe, are intentionally not symmetrical and each row of flowers is slightly different. This adds to the feeling of randomness and reality in the flowers. Size is 2.5" diameter. The wood is Bradford Pear (of course).
