Eye of the Diamond

13” x 9.5”, made with Cherry, Maple, Wenge, Bloodwood, Yellowheart, and Purpleheart. There are 74 rows total with 73 rows with 180 segments per row, for a total piece count of 13,185, with the center included. This took a little under 200 hours to complete.
Wow. Great work! look out, there is someone right behind you! great work generates a lot of folks doing the same thing. Andy Warhol had a few things to say about it. Keep it up, stay ahead of the pac!

Terrific effort Tom, your segmenting chops have never been more apparent than in this piece. 180 segments per row is cutting edge Maestro! Which end is the wide end realm, ha ha!! Regarding Michael’s comment, the fact that you generously share your techniques and jigs makes you more like “Johnny Appleseed” than someone to be mimicked that needs to keep out front! You are a guru of segmenting brother and I am a grateful follower!
