Nest of Feathers

Nest of Feathers

Nest of Feathers.
I entered this piece into the Record Power Tools Competition in an attempt to win a lathe, dust extraction system, and a set of Chucks and accessories for my turning club, as the date of the notification has passed l assume l did not win and cannot find anything or have heard of anybody winning so l thought time to show Nest of Feathers.
Made from Red maple, turned very thin, pierced, carved and with the use of pyrography made the feathers. Must admit it got a little tricky towards the end, but l like the results. First time l have made feet on anything.
