Leopardwood Ring Box

Leopardwood Ring Box

First attempts with small segmented vessels. It's been a very fun challenge. 3.5" diameter.
@Glenn McCullough Making the brass inserts is just part of my hobby and I appreciate how they make my woodturning addiction almost affordable. I have always tried to stress dry fitting before mixing any epoxy. The shop has a FB page where I have posted a lot of pictures and albums showing the urns and Beads Of Courage jars with inserts at different stages of various projects.

We were very fortunate to meet Carl and Robin Jacobson at a Robust Lathe open house a couple years ago. We showed him the urns we make and how we use the threaded brass inserts. Carl made a YouTube video using an insert set to make a canister.

I have been blessed with meeting so many fine artists and hobbyists with the sale of the inserts. We send a tip sheet with the inserts and I am always glad to talk with people about how they want to use them or just talk about the hobby.
