I love this! Because of the difficulty of making a one piece Teapot I think you should get some special recognition. This is one I would keep if it was mine. So Cool

how did you get the lid to look like a different piece of wood

, this was a challenge for sure. but enjoyed making this piece. this was my first trial piece , its a keeper.

@hockenbery thank you. this was a interesting piece of wood and i'm very pleased how it turned out with the coloring.I only had a small piece of the wood left for the lid, it had a small crack but gave it a turn to see if it would take but it snapped so i used another piece of cherry i had in the shop to turn the lid. it doesn't look that bad - close match
