Maple Burl hollow form

Approx. 10” x 5”
Turned from a piece of somewhat decayed Burl with lots of Burl eyes and small bark inclusions.
Dyed with 3 different colours, first black which was heavily sanded back then blue, also sanded back then a light wash of yellow.
Depending on how the light strikes the piece it appears either blue or green with many deep undertones of varying colours.
John I still get tremendous pleasure from the two small HF's of yours as part of a Swap we did some years ago, I can imagine the feather like feel of this one from your very thin wall turning skills, lovely eyes & colour in this piece
