Gilded Hollow Form

This is a gilded (Gold, Silver and Copper leaf) hollow form with Ebony pedestal, Collar and Finial. 5" d x 13" h. This is one of my demo pieces from my demonstration at Totally Turning in Saratoga Springs March 24-25.

Nicely done! Good form, finial and pedestal are very proportional, and the gilding sets it all off! Good contrast and the dark spots in the body bring symmetry to the body with the pedestal and finial.
