It looks like it's been 5 years since I posted here - THAT will change.
I did this one a while ago... I was ALL EXCITED, but while hanging it for the first time at a show, I saw it fall on asphalt and chip. I had made a poor choice about how it would hang.
Well, today, I eliminated the damage, refinished it and put in a wire hangar that will not fail.
All excited again.
It's 17 inches in diameter, turned from walnut with an art glass moon/sun face snug snap fit insert.
It is finished with oil and wax.
