Celebration Basket
Navajo Wedding Basket Illusion, 14½ inches diameter, 2¾ inches high, maple, beaded, burned, and colored in the style of the traditional wedding/celebration baskets. The wood is thin enough that bright light can shine through between the rows of beads. This piece was donated to the Woodturners of North Texas Christmas auction last weekend.
Astonishingly beautiful and masterful, Bill.

This is really a superb piece and, given the size even more amazing. As Al said, I'd love to see some in person.

Hopefully at SWAT this coming year maybe?

How many hours do you have in this one? I've been wanting to try my hand at a basket platter but wonder if I can stay focused for that long.
