Second Batch

The top is Sweetgum and the base is White Oak. The top is from an out of square piece ( approximately 2 3/4 inch) that was turned, 3/4 inch hole drilled to accept the tenon from the bottom piece (2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches long) and was wood burned to represent shingles. The bottom has been hollowed to reduce the weight. The ornament is finished in high gloss wipe-on-poly.
