The middle section of this illusion bowl was taken out of another bowl that my son Ben and I were making. I added the bottom and the top to the illusion portion of this bowl to make a new bowl. It measures 15" wide by 7 " tall and has over 3300 pieces of black walnut,maple, bloodwood and wenge in it. My motto is never throw anything away.
Not a big 'fan' of segmented work (generally!). However, I do admire precision, patience and devotion of others making such a nice pieces as this one is.
