Lidded Box

Here's a lidded box I turned from curly maple and horn. The horn was straightened, turned and polished. It finished with a nice white color. The horn is held to the base by friction. It's a nice, tight fit (so far, anyway).

When I first saw your piece, my thought was the same as Hal's. Outstanding craftsmanship on this box.
