3D Trapeziums

5 x 9 Colored Ash / Maple.

A different take on my previous "3D Segments" technique. The textured blue body is another technique I've been playing with. The way the light hits the ridges gives an iridescent quality.
John, I was just turning an ash bowl. I think mine is destined to stay in the shop... :) I forget your process - do the maple pieces extend to the inside of the bowl? Beautiful piece.
 
Unmistakeably John Beaver, just love seeing your fabulous work, I have no idea how you do this, thats a 10 for my money :)
