This is one of my first works with woodturning, I started at the beginning of this year, I have still much to learn in this field, it's a great pleasure as well as pain for me :)
Is that cording that you have incorporated into the base and top of your turning? If so, great idea. I really like the difference in textures that it gives you on this piece. It sets off he center section from the base very well.
Very impressive Martin. Not sure I like the cording but it is a very interesting. It just adds a rustic look to an otherwise elegant piece. Most of all I like the finish. If you are frustrated it doesn't show in this piece. Welcome, look forward to seeing more.

Yes, cording is incorporated into the base and the top of turning, this praise gives me the strength to continue to work and learn woodturning. I am glad for my welcome here.
