Purkinje Cell Vessel I. (2012). Spalted maple vessel with copper leaf and pyrography. And carved ebony legs. 13.75h X 7.5 diameter.
Peter, that is one exceptional piece of art. Kudos for the journal cover. Your technical ability with the wood burner is way out there, and the turning and design is suberb. Thank you for sharing these two pieces. I hope you will share more.

Nice work!! Also educational! I didn't know there were purkinje cells outside of the heart. What an amazing project to be involved with!
