Octo Pod

Octo Pod

This is Walnut, end grain, measuring 4 x 7 inches.
Who ever heard of an 8 sided seed pod? This may be the only 8 sided one I ever do..... 3`s n 5`s are less work. I`ve done several in this vein lately and my arm is aching, lol!
Comments welcome
Good work Vincent. Love the detail of the root, base, tail, whatever you call it. And welcome to the club of sore arms.

Michelle, looking at your art makes my arm sore too, I`m a fan of your work. :)
I`m also a guitarist, gigging tonight and tomorrow. I would hate to have to choose between turning and playing for my arm not keeping up. But for today, I`m good! Looking forward to more of your work.
