Spalted Elm & Dyed Maple 4" dia x 6" tall finished with polish and carnauba wax

This is my second attempt at adding a finial top to a box. The original was a tiny hole hollow that blew out with a catch so I had to cover up the mistake. This one was more intentional. Mom turned 80 this year.
