7" tall 4-1/4" diameter

I got tired of waiting for the bowl lathe to get repaired, so I turned this on the mini JET.

Its macassar Ebony and Redheart.
Hollowed 1" from the bottom, The walls are 3/16" thick most of the way.
Looks like a hollow form, but its a lidded jar.

Macassar turned like a rock, and redheart was like mahogany. it all worked out fine!
Chit,
Welcome to the AAW gallery - glad to see you're turning again.

This is a great site, I've been watching for a while now.
Has the owner of the site considered linking this site somehow to art dealers?
I imagine it would cost money, perhaps we could individually pay to have our bowls displayed to art selling related sites?
