I finally got some time to relax Saturday so I was in the shop at 5 am. This is the results of my day. Bradford Pear, 3-1/2" dia. x 5" to the top of the form, 8" to the top of the finial. 5/8" opening. Burned and dyed red with yellow. Finished with my 10 minute finish

realy lovely piece Keith, I like the finial & the rather elegant connection to the neck.
The decoration has a nice contrast & flow to it. :)
