The Main Street Cup & Saucer

Turned this cup an saucer to give to some friends that own a coffee shop on Main Street. Sycamore recovered from a bridge construction site over the Dan River.
Jim-

The wood is beautiful and you did and outstanding job of turning the pieces to bring out the grain and color. What the size and finish?

Gary

Thanks Gary! The saucer is about 7 1/2" in diameter, the cup is 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter. The finish is semi-gloss WOP. I had a couple of blemishes in the finish on the saucer so I went back at it with a "Beall" buff to correct it - which it did, however this gave the finish a little more gloss than the cup. The end result was pretty good and the folks at Main Street Coffee seemed to like it! :)
