Swung this one before lunch. Measured 15 1/2 by 15 1/8 prior to turning. From a log known down 3 years. Finsh size 15 by 4, and with it a lesson in the limitations of 50mm jaws. Linseed awaiting drying time for poly.
I like this piece. The two lines under the rim are very attractive and fit the piece nicely. A bit small for a chamber pot though, isn't it? Where do you live that these are still used????

A cmber pot??!! You are too funny. Nice job. Some day I'll be that fast. i'll show you my small (prottype cherry bowl soon.

The Love of My Life and live-in critic is responsible for the name. First full-size piece I cut with the "new" lathe, and proudly displayed produced the comment "it's as big as a thunder mug." So they became, all of them.

Can't go outside and do things, after all. If you think ICBM means only a Minuteman, you've never tried winter camping here.
