Maple Bowl

This little bowl is turned from spalted maple to a thin wall and measures 5 inches dia x 3 inches high and is sat on a slate base to add a contrast of colour, material and texture.

I have not posted anything for a long time as I have lots going.

Thank you for looking.

Comments critique welcome.
Lovely form Mark, lovely smooth arc to the bottom, obviously this is very thin, looks great on the slate, (art gallery presentation)

Hi all

Thank you for your comments. Every now and then I hit the spot and I think with this one I did, it was an enjoyable piece to make.

Thank you all again your comments are much appreciated.

Hi Bob

Apologies I have not been in the forum for ages and did not get a reminder of your comment. No the bowl just sits/rocks into place.
