Turned, carved, textured and gilded
NB: outside is not bleached, surprisingly it's the colour of this poor walnut (spalted a little)

Lionel, this is a very interesting, intriguing piece. I can't imagine walnut this white. The gilding looks great against the white wood. I would love to see it in person.

if you do see it in person, I must admit, it's not so white (it's a little gray ) this bright white is done by the light (natural light + reflexion with a mirror) and the mysteries of the camera...
I'll try other color combination
